Per New York City Building Code requirements, special inspection agency must be retained by Building Owner, Developers and many City Agencies in the city to fulfill their TR-1 & TR-8 Special Inspection / Control Inspection Requirements on Major Renovations and New Constructions. Special Inspection Agency shall be bringing on board for building Architectural, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, etc. inspections.
A Special Inspection Agency & Special inspectors are third party licensed professional engineers and architects who oversee the construction and sign off of your project. Special inspection agencies are required to be hired by the owner, and are required for every single permitted project in New York City.
